[TOPIC] Making the topic debatable

When we write an essay with a topic you chose by yourself, the topic must be debatable. As for my case, my topic is about the internet. Especially "net neutrality". My topic is: "The internet should be an open-source platform for any user to develop and use". As a web developer myself, my point of view would be "developer". Since the topic I am going to give out is on a serious debate on the United States congress and other countries (I believe), my essay must contain more then one perspectives and point of view for thinking. Why? That is because, with a lot of supporting statements based on several point of view and reasoning, my main claim will be protected from the arguments made by the opposite side. Writing this topic with a strong supported claim will be important for me, especially because this topic is held as a main topic for the United States congress. As a web developer, I would like to write with a strong statement regarding to my topic.

[PEER EDIT] Enhancing your writing through peer editing

In the United States, peer editing documents is a very common method for enhancing documents. Fun Fact : Google Docs was designed to enable this because Microsoft Word did not have this feature. As said in class, "we can not find our own mistakes". This idea has become popular in the business world of "writing documents". As a result, over the recent years, there are now startups and companies which focus on these features. For example, Grammarly is a company that made the chrome extension that auto-corrects your writing on the web. Fun Fact : I create my blog posts with the help of Grammarly . Peer editing is a powerful method that can be used to edit and enhance your document. Because can not find our own "minor" mistakes, utilizing the free services online may be a great choice to make.

[REFLECT] My Book Review Presentation

There were many things to be fixed on my presentation. I would like to write down some major mistakes on my presentation.  First of all, my voice was shaking. The "voice" in presentation really effects on how you look and how listeners "see" your whole presentation itself. As for myself, having a "shaky voice" resulted into giving the listeners an image that I am not confident with what I am saying. Being bright and all would be better for my presentation. In addition, using more exaggerated body language would be better.  I also lacked "standard body language", such as how you should hold out your arms. Although the listeners were not able to see my body language because of the desk (Because the room was JUST HORRIBLE). However, I think I should have not spoken at an fixed area. I should have done the presentation like Steve Jobs (Like how he walks around the stage).  Other mistakes comes with presentation slide style, the format of my pres...

[CODING] Making a VR Minecraft.

VR Minecraft For a few weeks, I've been developing "VR Minecraft" to test the limits of the sensors included in the phone. (Especially iPhone) Heres the link to the project: https://prazma.github.io/vrminecraft Note: The link will be available during (10/20 - 11/5). I will repost a link to share the details of the program. How to Play (How it Works) I have added a program where the camera detects your hand gesture to detect your actions in the game (such as placing a block, destroying a block, opening the menu and closing the menu). Using GPS (geolocation API on HTML5), the player is able to move in the game (as well as Jump, with automatic jumping program as seen on Minecraft PE). Technology We code with: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PrazmaScript (PrazmaScript is a custom language I built out of JavaScript Library. Initiating hand motion capture can be done with the code snippet below) var gestures = []; //make an empty array to store gestures gestu...

[REFLECTION] Day 1 - Book Review Presentations

While listening to the classmates presentations, there were few things that I have realized.  First of all, most of the speakers voice was shaking. As a result, the listeners can easily detect if the speaker is nervous or not. To look confident about what I am saying on my presentation, I thought speaking clearly was important thing to keep in mind. Secondly, some text and images in presentation did not look very nice. The problem was the lack of blending colors, box elements and fixed layout. By blending the image background with the slide background (or removing all whitespace) will make the slide very clean and visually attractive. Also, by creating a box element as a background for the text will make the text more viewable and clear. Last of all, I thought that it was always important to link your "one last thing" with your book. Some people were stating the "One Last Thing" that had nothing to do with the book, but had something to do with either th...

[IDEAS] Two Types of Slide Designs

I believe that there are two types of designs for slideshows. The first design, is based on making each slide simple with images and minimum text. This method gives the viewers static image on what the speaker is talking about. The second design method I use is the "Material UI Design". Since it is a UI design, the whole design interacts to the users with geometrical and photographic elements animated and placed according to a layout. (the layout guidelines are set by Google). For example, if you were to tell a user about a new feature, this is what Material UI Design will solve the task: https://storage.googleapis.com/material-design/publish/material_v_12/assets/0B4kv-3uZbS1qQVhNbFlVdlNsOEE/engagement-featurediscovery-single-flow.mp4

[REVIEW OF YESTERDAYS CLASSROOM] Acknowledgements for my Presentation

The practice for the "Book Review Presentation" went pretty well for me. By practicing my presentation I have learned one thing: A script is unnecessary . Scripts hardens our ideas. All we need is a brief memo on what you are going to talk about. Doing a presentation is just like "talking" to the audience. The final result of what you are going to say can be processed in your head real time during the presentation, along with your wise cracking jokes.

[LEARNED] Writing perfect blog posts

Here is what I learned about the writing structure for your blog:  Blogs can have many styles of writing by the author. Because there are many styles for writing blogs, it is important to select and use an effective writing style. Just like writing an essay, the blog posts should have a structure. As a blogger, you want the readers to understand your idea and experience. Plus, you want the readers to get inspired in the end. Here is how the structure of an essay will help your blog post more effective. First of all, the introduction will give the readers the basic idea of your whole post. The body will let the readers understand your post. Lastly, the conclusion will give the message you wanted to give out to the readers. Plus, with a little twist, your blog post can inspire people. As you can see, by using the essay structure for your blog post, you can make an effective and inspiring blog post for your blog.

[PROJECT] Consultant for the Web?

I have been developing and experimenting artificial intelligence programs (web apps) to replace some kind of job to a free online source for anyone including students like me to use. My friend has suggested me on creating an online consultant: "There are many people (almost everyone) with some sort of problem or issue in their lifetime... Then, why not build a site that offers everything counselor, consultants, guardians... Everything that is the best to rely on into a one single page". The conclusion? : I would like to develop a free online web counselor for kids with troubles at school, from the fact that I had an experience on having hard times at school, especially with relationships. The teachers helped me with my hard times. So, isn't it mine now? If you feel the same, join me on this project at summer break!

[Review] End of the Semester

It is very hard to believe to the fact that it is already the end of the whole first semester. This semester, I have learned many skills on creating and sharing ideas effectively and creatively. The environment can change our ideas, as well as our thoughts for how to share and keep the idea. Thanks to all of the research and support from my team (Funky Donut Designs and Developers at GitHub.com) I have become more knowledgeable, and creative for more projects to tackle on in the future. Thank you for reading, and thank you for your support.

[THOUGHT] How to give IDEAS

I tend to see many new companies trying to find successby taking the route what is known as the "Safe-Route" which is not a safe route. What does a company desire? Easy question. Profit, Success and Prosperation. In this case, the idea known as the "Safe-Route" above is a bad idea. Lets take a look at all the small companies operating in the world. What is common about them? They have nothing unique from the design to there operation and business systems. Founders of such companies think they can beat the other companies that started the area of business. Boy they are wrong. It has a paradoxical result if you execute the method of the "Safe-Route". Companies like Google launch something new to the world: search engine to first strengthen the company. Then, they compete against other companies like the Android From the way of thinking above, I think thinking the impossible at 70% of the time of your life can be a benefit. Therefore, I am highly disappo...

[IDEAS] To have the Good Days, you need the Bad Days

I think everyone has gone through some kind of a problem or conflict in their lives, from physical to mental issues. I have had many mental issues in my life, such as feeling the loneliness or having a nightmare about an alien invasion (literally). People suffer and have negative times of their life because of these conflicts. However, if we look at the people who actually succeeded in a tremendous pace, they use the "conflicts" for their benefits. There is a taco restaurant that was robbed by robbers caught on camera. Most of the restaurant owners at this situation would most likely call for the police. However, the owner of the taco restaurant. Made a parody of making "robbers searching for delicious tacos for late-night snack". There are so much more successful actions just like this example. They inspired the way of my life. As a application and web service developer myself, I would like to turn the bad days of my life to inspire myself to help the pe...

[LEARNED] The figures of perfect presentation.

Today, we worked on our stance and gestures to improve our presentation skills. I have learned an important lesson: our gestures tells what you are doing in the inside. I naturally use gestures to help myself pick up words from my word-bank in my brain without thinking smoothly. Presentations are just like "talking to your friend about your idea", but in a "larger scale". I will keep this in my mind when doing a presentation for my "classroom design project".

[LEARNED] Controlling Search Results

Google features many search commands, and here are the following commands I have known before todays class : Search "super mario bros" : Click on the animated coin block shown on the right hand corner of the screen. Click on it to make the block bounce up shoot coins just like from the original game.  Search "do a barrel roll" : The Google website will turn around. On Google Images, search "atari breakout" : You can play the good old game of Atari Breakout.   Check out for more commands here The commands that I have pointed out above is used for fun. However, in todays class, I have learned about "useful" Google Search commands. The "useful" Google Search commands will help you organize the search results by actually making the number of search results fewer. These are the following I have picked up from a documentation from class. Site:url Filetype:key / ppt etc “Exact phrase” -exclude Related:url ...

[LEARNED] The New Point of View

While it is important to share your ideas to your fellow peers, at the of 5/15/2017, I have learned the importance of viewing and reading ideas by people with a totally different way of thinking then you have. Since technology has caught up to connecting people to people with there ideas and selves virtually, from that day and on, I have gained a new value and point of view in my life to view multiple ideas from multiple points of view. [LEARNED] Launching a Site & Rules of Design

Google Sites provides us a great service on creating a new website, sharing and staying connected simply. Today, we have learned about Google Sites. You can consider Google Sites as a Google Docs that allows you to publish sites with an awesome management tools and options for several new pages to add to your site. The introduction to Google Sites has lead us to learn some designing rules, which are the colours, images, and the fonts. Keeping the rules of design on my mind should help me on my presentation and projects.

[LEARNED] Connecting and Sharing

Blogger.com provides the whole class the opportunity to share what we thought in proper english writing. Today, the class has started using Feedly, a free online web service that features organised RSS feed tool. I am sure that Feedly will help the whole class stay connected well. As for myself, it has become a lot easier to share my ideas and reviews well. Introduction to Feedly will greatly effect my blog and productivity over this year.

[LEARNED] English writing tools.

I have learned some of the useful writing tools online, and got to use them for a while to get to know how to use them.  Thanks to these writing tools, I have looked back to my old essays and writing to see how low leveled my words were. I will surely use these useful tools in the future to enhance my writing over this year.

My Goals for 2017

Every year, I develop and work on web applications and personal projects. I also create one or two goals for the whole year to achieve as an extraterresterial activity. For this year of 2017, I would like to have two goals. Here are the two goals : 1. Create an AI to help me on my school work and other projects. I think this project will help me work at my maximum productivity. The AI will help me with some researches, creating files and data automatically and collect some valid sources and advise from the internet. I would like to install this to my glasses so I can use it anytime. 2. Work on a new enviromentaly friendly power source (power plant) to power my devices I would like to create a miniature tokamak based plasma rod reactor  power plant to run my devices 24 hours, 7 days a week. Since I use a lot of my electronics every day, I consume a lot of electricity. I would like to be able to provide my self with this miniature power plant. I will also work on thi...
